Exchange Rates

I always get confused at which column to look at when I want to exchange foreign currency.

I want to change Thai Baht into Euros. Do I look at the Buy or Sell column?

Hi ya ...

You're not the only one who gets confused.

If you have Thai baht and you want to buy Euros then you look at the BUYING rate. That is the rate the bank will use for you to buy the currency you want.

In a reverse situation, you have Euros and what baht so the bank will use the SELLING rate as they are selling the baht back to you in exchange for Euros.

Hope that helps.
